I know I shouldn’t complain when the coldest temperature EVER recorded in Vancouver is -14 C, but anything nearing the zero degree mark has me hiding under the covers these days. Yes, this Winnipeg-born gal has grown soft. Fortunately lots of Vancouverites braved the light dusting of snow we got this weekend & came out to support handmade.
Camera phones + florescent lighting = fugly photos, but you can see some shots on Flickr of my festive booth display, plus the lampwork jewelry made by my rad booth buddy from Firestorm Art Glass & a sneaky photo of Lisa explaining the awesomeness of her mineral makeup line, Affera Cosmetics! (It really is awesome. She did my makeup on Sunday morning & I am hooked!)
Back to work for me! Next weekend is the Urban Aritsan Craft Fair at the Roundhouse, where hopefully I’ll have some new brooches on display!
